  • CONCERT IN THE SUN! A beautiful August day greeted guests as we started the concert for autism at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. A variety of musicians donated their time to promote autism awareness and Garden Academy. From hard rock to acoustic guitar to reggae music, guests soaked in the sun and the tunes while supporting a worthy cause. Thanks to all the musicians, the Stone Pony and to all our supporters! Special thanks to Marc Rizzo, our headliner, and Phalmencore Productions for all their hard work in producing the concert.

  • 3RD ANNUAL GOLF OUTING. The event proved to be the most successful one to date. A hundred golfers took to the links on a beautiful July day at our new venue, the Maplewood Country Club in Maplewood, NJ. The Hole-In-One contest was sponsored by Tri-County Lexus who offered a silver 2007 Lexus ES 350 to the winner of the contest (sadly, no one drove off with the car this year). Over 150 guests joined in the celebration as Board President, Steve D'Angelo, gave an update on Garden Academy's recent achievements. A heartfelt thank you to all our participants and supporters for another successful and fun event! A special thank you to our following sponsors: FolksAmerica, Ernst & Young, Best Provision Co., Inc., J.H. Cohn, LLP, Riotto Consulting Services, Schwartz Family Foundation, Singh Family, Tri-County Lexus

Traditional Irish fare included corned beef sandwiches and hot dogs donated by Best's Foods in Jersey City and beverages donated by Kristen Distributing. Guests were also treated to Irish music, traditional dances, face painting and a variety of giveaways donated by local West Orange businesses.
