Training the next generation
One aspect of Garden Academy’s program that makes our school stand out is our ongoing contributions to the field of behavior analysis. Individuals who have been trained at Garden Academy publish research, lead classrooms, work as consultants to families and school districts, and train other professionals throughout our region.
BCBA Supervision at Garden Academy
Garden Academy provides supervision for staff members pursuing their behavior analyst board certification in accordance with guidelines from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Staff who are in good standing with the organization and who have worked at Garden Academy for at least one year are eligible to participate in our supervision program.
Our goal for supervision is to train qualified, skilled behavior analysts by teaching a wide array of clinical skills. We use a competency-based approach to training, as well as performance feedback to evaluate our trainees skills and guide supervision. Our supervision process goes beyond training staff in the principles of behavior analysis to include training on decision making, problem solving, and managerial and interpersonal skills.
